| Compassion International Sponsorship
Kingdom Quest supports three children from Compassion International. Henry Wabanase- Uganda, Africa 16 years old Selena Estefania Delgado Chavez- Ecuador, South America 7 years old Wendy Yadir Del Villar- Dominican Republic 4 years old It cost $32/month for each child. The money we collect at Sunday School for offering goes toward each child. Our goal is $96/month to help support each child. We encourage the children to write letters each week to our sponsor children. It is a wonderful opportunity to communicate with other children from different countries and share about each others lives. God is doing awesome things through this program. Be sure to stop the Compassion Children bulletin board just outside the SE Wing were you can read letters and more about Compassion International. Mike Hinckfoot just returned from Equador and had the chance to visit with Selena, our sponsor child. We recieved a gift from our her and her community. It is a homemade wooden bowl with the scripture passage Phillipians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." carved and written in their own language. What an awesome blessing. We will be using this each week to collect offering in a different classroom. |
